Dave Belmont, Acorn Stairlifts Company Secretary was amongst a group of Bradford City fans raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support at their home fixture against Rotherham United on Boxing Day.
Dave, a Bradford City season ticket holder, took part in a bucket collection around the ground which raised a total of £2,581.
Macmillan Cancer Support delivers life changing services for people living with cancer. Macmillan Nurses, GPs and other healthcare professionals work tirelessly in local communities to support people affected by cancer at the most difficult time of their life.
"It was a great way to spend two hours over the Christmas period," said Dave.
"It was fun passing the buckets round the Rotherham supporters, and it was in a very good cause."
Francine Tyler, Regional Fundraising Manager for Macmillan, gave a massive thank you to the volunteers and the supporters for raising such a large amount of money in one afternoon.
