Acorn Stairlifts Features In Sure and Steady Mobility Feature
Accredited by the Arthritis Foundation

In today‘s edition of the Daily Mail, we were mentioned in a classified ads feature, entitled “Stay Sure and Steady”.

“Modern stairlifts are very safe and reliable, with electronic and mechanical brakes that make a sudden descent impossible. And special safety sensors will stop the lift in the event of an obstruction on the stairs. The stairlift will also continue to operate in a power cut, as it is battery powered and charges when not in use.

If you suffer from arthritis, for example, a stairlift with a perch or saddle seat might suit you, so that you don’t have to bend your knees so much. Just ask the leading stairlift companies what they provide. Some are even accredited by the Arthritis Foundation for ease of use.”
