Acorn 80 Stairlifts - Comfort & Safety
The Acorn 80 stairlift comes with all the comfort and safety features that you can find on our Acorn Superglide stairlift, and due to its unique modular curved rail system, can be assembled and installed almost as quickly.
With a built-in soft start and stop facility, the Acorn 80 stairlift gives you a smooth comfortable ride every time, and you can be sure that your stairlift is always ready for use thanks to the integral rechargeable battery pack, even in the event of a mains power failure.
When not in use, the Acorn 80 can be folded away; its slim profile and unique inside parking ability ensures that the staircase is not obstructed, allowing other members of the household to use the stairs as normal.
The unique self-levelling transport system moves the stairlift carriage along the low profile rail and automatically adjusts the speed and level of the seat when moving round corners, providing an exceptionally smooth ride. The stairlift's electronic programming ensures optimum performance at all times.

Acorn 80 Stairlifts - options
Acorn's curved stairlift can also be fitted with an optional powered hinged rail. The lower section of the rail folds up and out of the way automatically as the stairlift travels up and down the staircase, allowing greater access at the foot of the stairs. This raises and lowers automatically as the stairlift travels up and down the staircase. This option of a hinged rail is ideal when there may a doorway near the foot of the stairs. When the stairlift is not is use, the rail is neatly out of the way and causes no obstruction.
