Acorn has installed free stairlifts for 20 patients at the local Manorlands Hospice run by Sue Ryder, in order that they may continue to live in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. Staff have also raised more than £50,000 for Manorlands in the last four years.

Lizzie Procter, Hospice Director at Manorlands, said “The level of support and dedication shown by Acorn’s staff over the past few years has been exceptional.  Acorn and Sue Ryder are both incredibly committed to helping people feel comfortable and independent in their own homes. "With Acorn’s regular free stairlifts to Manorlands Hospice, we’ve been able to make this happen for even more of our patients."
