Acorn Stairlifts has announced a first for the industry as the only national stairlift company to be awarded the Trustmark accreditation for installation and customer care.
The only Government-endorsed scheme for all trades in and around the home, TrustMark acts as a signpost to help homeowners find local firms and expert tradespeople, providing them with choice, confidence and protection.
The Trustmark accreditation is not the only “first” for Acorn Stairlifts because it also was the first stairlift company in the world to receive the Ease-of-Use Commendation from the Arthritis Foundation.
All TrustMark registered firms are onsite inspected, vetted and agree to work to Government-endorsed standards of technical competence and fair-trading prior to listing and are then monitored for continued compliance.
TrustMark is the only scheme that visits domestic premises to inspect the work done. They also speak to those for whom it was done to gain their experience as part of the accreditation process.
Jon Hines, Founder of INCIC, said, “We are delighted to award Acorn Stairlifts this certificate to recognise its commitment to making the customer experience during installation, use and aftercare second to none.”
INCIC Inspector Clive Vare added, “I was delighted to record such positive experiences from those who had Acorn engineers in their homes and how the products have transformed their lives. Due to its national coverage these domestic checks will continue to give consumers peace of mind wherever they live and provide valuable independent feedback on their service to Acorn. ”
Dave Belmont, Company Secretary of Acorn Stairlifts said, “Achieving TrustMark accreditation means a lot to us, being an independent endorsement of our commitment to excellence in customer care. Our stairlifts are already independently accredited to meet the latest European and worldwide safety standards, so for Trustmark to independently assess our installations will give our customers throughout the UK even greater comfort, confidence and reassurance.”
