Masquerade Ball for Manorlands

12:00am & News
An Acorn employee is organising a Masquerade Ball on Friday 17th June at the Mercure Bankfield Hotel in order to raise funds for the Sue Ryder Manorlands hospice.
Two years ago, Georgie Chester completed a punishing Himalayan trek, raising nearly £6,000 for Manorlands. Now the 29-year-old putting on her hiking-boots again and heading to the Borneo rainforest.
The nine-day challenge, in October, will result in an ascent of 4,095-metre-high Mount Kinabalu.
Georgie has to raise at least £4,000 for Manorlands and has set-up an online fundraising page, as well as staging a series of events, including the Masquerade Ball. Tickets are £40 each, to include a meal and entertainment.
Acorn is a big supporter of the Manorlands hospice, in nearby Oxenhope, raining over £17,000 for them last year.
